Few combinations evoke glamour and fun as much as the perfect pair of Wine Women & Shoes and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois. On October 10, 2024, wine-savvy, shoe-loving women will kick up their heels and sip fine wines and bubbly while shopping the latest fashions and accessories from fabulous local vendors, all to benefit our mission to provide a supportive place for families to stay while their child is receiving medical care.
The event will include local jewelry and fashion vendors, wine tasting, culinary delights, and opportunities to walk away with fabulous goodies. After shopping we invite our guests to watch a live fashion show, bid on incredible and one-of-a-kind live auction items, as well as learn more about the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities and how to support the work we do. This year's Wine Women & Shoes event will feature a "Best in Shoe" competition. Wear your coolest kicks, hottest heels, or funkiest footwear and prepare to wow the judges!
General admission tickets receive access to the Marketplace, wine tastings, heavy appetizers and dessert, a seat for our fashion show, and a gift.
VIP tickets include all of the above as well as private luxury seating for the Marketplace, photo booth opportunity, special gift, and preferred seating for the fashion show.
Shoe Guy
Our fabulous Shoe Guys play an important role in Wine Women & Shoes; we can’t imagine doing it without them. The Shoe Guys will have the opportunity to host the lovely ladies ready to sip, shop and support, all to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois. The Shoe Guys are in charge of greeting and escorting guests to the Marketplace, supporting wine service from sip-sational wine partners, selling entry tickets for Key to the Closet and bottles from Wall of Wine, promoting auction lots, and—most importantly—making every guest feel special.
They often play key roles before the event, as well, by spreading the word to friends and colleagues, and competing for the coveted “King of Sole” crown through peer-to-peer fundraising. Becoming a Shoe Guy is an opportunity to network, promote your business, and make a meaningful impact on a worthy cause.
